Matkalentoa Tampereelle

Tänään kävimme tutustumassa Tampere-Pirkkalan lentokenttään ja harjoittelemassa radiopuhelinliikennettä valvotulla lentopaikalla. Sää oli mukava kuten kuviista näkyy, tuulet olivat ATIS-tiedoitteen (Mike) mukaan 240/7, joten menomatkalla oli vastatuulta. 66nm matka kesti 50 minuuttia tuulten takia, takaisintulomatka oli  nopeampi luonnollisesti, sillä tuulet olivat nyt myötätuulta. Saimme selvityksen ensin myötätuuleen LEMPOn kautta, mutta LEMPOn tasalla saimme selvityksen perusosalle, kiitotie 24. Auringon häikäisy teki laskusta vaikean, mutta maahan päästiin. Lähdimme pian takaisin Vesivehmaalle, jossa oli "ruuhka" tälläisenä kauniina päivänä.


Today we went to see Tampere-Pirkkala airport and practicing radio communications in controlled airspace. Weather was nice, as you might see from the photos. Only bad thing was the winds 240/7 according to ATIS information. So our 66 nm flight took 50 mins and our return flight took naturally less. Luckily we got clearance to downwind for runway 24. And when I announced LEMPO inbound, I got clearance for base leg runway 24. The landing went well, although it was pretty hard to land the plane, because the sun was shining straight from west making it very hard for me to see anything. Soon after landing we started our flight back to Vesivehmaa. There was "traffic" in Vesivehmaa because of such a nice day.
